Hey everyone! It feels like it’s been forever since I last posted here, so I figured it’s time to reconnect and share what I’ve been up to. Life has been a moving lately, but it’s the kind of chaos that makes me grateful to be doing what I love. There’s a lot to cover—writing, photography, acting, and all the exciting ways I’ve been keeping my creativity alive.
Content Writing
First off, I’ve been having an incredible time working with a psychiatry clinic, writing blog content for them. It’s been such a fulfilling experience, blending research with storytelling in a way that feels meaningful. Honestly, getting paid to write still feels surreal—like I finally found a way to make my dreams a reality. It’s a reminder that when passion meets opportunity, amazing things can happen. Writing these blogs has stretched me in the best way, and it’s only made me more eager to grow as a writer. I’ve also taken the plunge and signed up for Fiverr, hoping to land even more writing gigs. It’s both nerve-wracking and exciting to put myself out there, but I’m optimistic that more opportunities are just around the corner.
Photography
On the photography front, 2024 has been a game-changer for me. I’ve had the honor of shooting two engagement sessions, and I’m thrilled to say both couples loved the photos. There’s something magical about capturing those intimate moments, knowing they’ll become part of someone’s story for years to come.
I’ve been getting back into the groove with my Nikon D3100, a camera that’s been with me through so much. Practicing with it again has been like reconnecting with an old friend. My partner, Ace, has been incredibly supportive and patient, letting me practice portrait shots with them. My mom has also jumped in, allowing me to snap some portraits of her. It’s been so special to have that support from the people closest to me as I continue to grow in my photography skills.
The most recent engagement session was both thrilling and a little nerve-racking. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t anxious beforehand—there’s always that fear that something will go wrong, or I won’t meet expectations. But everything fell into place, and the final shots turned out better than I could’ve imagined. The couples’ joy when they saw the photos made every moment of stress worth it. I still have so much to learn, but that’s what excites me the most. Each session is an opportunity to try something new, make mistakes, and grow. I’m already itching for my next session. I want to push myself creatively, experiment with new angles, and continue refining my eye for capturing authentic moments.

Extra Work
But wait—there’s more! Recently, I had the absolute thrill of being an extra on a widely known TV show (I wish I could spill the details, but I’m sworn to secrecy for now!). Stepping back onto a film set was like coming home. The buzz, the energy, the collaboration—there’s nothing else like it. Being surrounded by other creatives reminded me how much I adore acting and storytelling in all its forms. It reignited my passion for performance and made me realize how much I miss being part of that world.
The Catch Up
Creativity has always been at the core of who I am, and I love that I’ve been able to explore it in so many different ways—whether through acting, writing, or photography. Each of these outlets brings something unique to my life, and they all fuel my desire to keep growing, learning, and creating. It hasn’t always been easy, and there are still moments where doubt creeps in, but I’ve come to realize that every creative journey is full of ups and downs. The important part is to keep going, keep trying, and keep dreaming.
Looking ahead, I can’t wait to see what opportunities come next—whether it’s a new photography session, more writing gigs, or the chance to be on set again. I’m feeling more motivated than ever to make the most of these creative pursuits. Thank you to everyone who’s been following along and supporting me—it means the world to have you on this journey with me.
Until next time,
August
